A quiet obsession with a good cup
Athina's Leafy Brews began at a home kitchen table, weighing out cardamom and ginger for friends who kept asking where the chai came from. What started as a favour became a small tea house built on one rule: sell only what we would happily brew for ourselves every morning.
We keep the range deliberately small. Six blends, each tasted and adjusted until the balance is right — bright enough to drink black, sturdy enough to stand up to milk. There is no warehouse and no middle layer; you talk to the people who pack your tea.
Sourced at the garden
We buy directly from growers in Assam, the Nilgiris and Kerala, choosing lots by cup quality rather than price.
Whole spices, no shortcuts
Cardamom pods, ginger and cocoa are blended whole — never dust, essence or artificial flavouring.
Packed after you ask
Small batches mean your pack is filled and sealed close to dispatch, so aroma survives the journey.
